Any Disney historian knows about the fact that Charlie Chaplin has had some influence in Walt Disney and his amazing life work. Whether in Mickey’s The Barn Dance (1929). or Charlie Chaplin's The Tramp (1915) with its famous "walk away", it's said, that Walt felt this is how Mickey ought to react to hardships.
To honor the great Charlie Chaplin, I have created a "Homage" on the great scene in the movie "The Circus" to showcase how creative and educational Charlie Chaplin has been during his career...
I remember every word my father, who is a well known photographer in Venice, Italy, told me about, when he meet and spend some time with Mr. Charlie Chaplin in Italy some 50 years ago. He always described him as a decent man, very well educated and with a great charm. Instead of showing him around in the high frequented tourist areas, he took him into the real Venice, where he (and me) are born, nice little "secret" bars, where you get great fresh local fish and a glass of vine, life was good...
More coming soon...
